Working hours infringements

By choosing the menu item “Reports/Driver/Working hours/Infringements” you are able to view specific, requested violation report on working times. The report will only show drivers that are assigned to a fleet of the requestor. The start date will be drawn from the given reference period as indicated in working times parameters of this specific customer or fleet; it can not be edited. The registered working times and violations – based on driver activities and working times parameters assigned to this customer or fleet – will be listed according to four categories:

  • Total sum of violations within a referential period (as defined in Customer Management menu and/or Fleet Management) given for one or all selected drivers.
    You will be shown the referential period, the actually fulfilled working weeks within this period, the total amount of working hours within this period, the average weekly working hours, as well as working hours of the current calendar week, the current day and remaining working hours for the current as well as the upcoming week.

    Additionally, you receive an analysis per driver that shows you an overview on his known violations;
  • Subsumption of Weeks will list a total amount of performed working hours and recorded violations per week – such as: weekly working time exceeds 60 hours;
    You receive a list of total working hours within the current calendar week, of, the current day and remaining working hours for the current as well as the upcoming calendar week.

  • Initial and last point of time per calendar day of the following activities: “Driving”, “Working”, and “Standby”; additionally, the total sum of working hours of the current week as well as of the current day will be displayed. Additionally, you receive a statistical overview for the current day;
  • Single activities per day and driver by start, end and duration as well as cumulative working and shift hours and the time of the start and the end of a shift. Registered violations are displayed below the above mentioned events – such as: insufficient break (30 min.) after working for over six (6) hours.

Violations will be determined in accordance with regulation (EC) No. 2002/15/EG.

In order to obtain the most flexibility in regards to working time reports, a new menu item has been added, which allows an adaptation of the parameters regarding local/national working time regulations (e.g. overall working hours per shift, average weekly working hours within referential period etc.). This is necessary because they may vary for each country or each company.

These parameters may be defined for a singe company (at menu item Management è Company è edit Company – Working hours ) or for a single fleet as indicated at Management è Fleets è Title of fleet – Fleet - working hours. The latter parameter will dominate parameter regarding a company when compiling the report.
Preset values relate to general directives on working time by the European Union.

Additionally, the working hours per day are verified; they are not to exceed ten (10) hours (èViolation 10 Hours Working Time)

Note 1              For any day that did not register any value will receive the marker “N”; any displayed day with missing data, the icon “?”will be displayed at the detailed overview. The reports will register these missing entries as rest periods.

Note 2              The value Work Day accumulates of all driver events “Rest period”, “Standby”, “Driving” and “Working” recorded between two (2) daily rest periods.

Note 3              The value Long Work Day is defined as a work day which exceeds the top working period per day as well as the overall permitted work day.
